In February the SWP Board passed a new volunteer policy for 2012. The policy was created to increase and encourage parent volunteerism in our SW Football/Cheer Program. Our goal is to have 100% volunteer participation from our families, because without our volunteers, we won’t have a successful program for our SW kids!
Our Football/Cheer Coaches already dedicate a minimum of 100 hours to run this program and make it one of the best in the state! With this said, we have established a new policy that will be in affect for this season:
OPTION 1: When you register your son/daughter this season, you will have the opportunity to sign up to volunteer. We have a list of volunteer positions that we need help with throughout the season. We ask that each family sign up to volunteer a minimum of 3 hours for the season. Of course you can sign up for more hours as we ALWAYS need help.
OPTION 2: If you would rather not, or cannot volunteer, we are incorporating a $75 fee per family to help cover the cost that will incur to hire people into the open positions.
