The Rays of Hope Fund was started to enable the South Windsor Community Foundation to raise money and to grant worthy community projects funds to execute these projects.
Fundraising is primarily done through mailings and community outreach and appearances at community events.
A distribution committee provides a form to any interested parties who wish to submit an application requesting funds and discussing their use of those funds. Criteria are established to award funds based on the number of people served and the impact on those people.
