Manchester Boy to Make Feature Film Debut

11-year old Manchester resident Tucker McMann will make his feature film debut in "Dynamite: A Cautionary Tale."

Tucker McMann, an eleven year old Manchester resident, makes his feature film debut alongside Oscar Nominee Carol Kane in "Dynamite: A Cautionary Tale."

Although McMann has appeared in many theater productions including A Cat On A Hot Tin Roof and Our Town, this is his first movie role.

“It was so much fun and everyone was really nice.  It is a really long day but there is always tons of food,” McMann said.    

The movie which also stars, “Pretty Little Liars” Ian Harding and “Harry Potter” alumnus Evanna Lynch started shooting in New York last week.

Tate Steinsiek is making his directorial feature debut, helming from a script by Jason Noto. Chaske Spencer (“Twilight Saga”), Polly Draper (“Thirtysomething”) and Ray Santiago (“Dexter”) also star.

A 1960s themed film about love and redemption, the movie is about a family man working underground in New York City running books and films to delivery points and mob headquarters around the east coast while trying to keep his family in the dark.

Steinsiek established Ill Willed Productions in 2001. It provides special effects makeup and prosthetic application and fabrication to the film and television industry.

The production is scheduled for an 18-day shoot.
