Spaces - both individual and foursomes - are still available for the 22nd annual South Windsor Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament, which is scheduled for Aug. 9 at the Topstone Golf Course.
For $150, the golf package includes a continental breakfast, use of the putting green, 18 holes of golf with a 10 a.m. shotgun start, lunch, prizes, giveaways and a 19th-hole dinner.
Special prizes include $5,000 for a hole-in-one, a $5,000 putting contest, a longest drive competition, a 50/50 raffle, a tea cup raffle and a grand prize drawing.
“It’s going to be a fun day,” said Chamber Executive Director Shari Fiveash.
A portion of the funds go to scholarships for students graduating from area high schools, Fiveash said.
Signature sponsors of the event include the Eastern Connecticut Health Network (a platinum sponsor), Rockville Bank, TonSha Marketing-Printing, J&B Sportswear, AT&T, Sam’s Club and Aldi.
“We have some wonderful sponsors to go along with our golfers,” Fiveash said.
