For the fifth year in a row, TicketNetwork has ranked among the 500 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, and clean technology companies in North America on Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 list.
"The entire TicketNetwork team is thrilled to be recognized as one of the fastest growing technology companies for a fifth consecutive year," co-founder and co-CEO Doug Kruse said. "This honor is a true testament to the spirit of innovation and excellence embodied by our employees," he added.
TicketNetwork, once located in Vernon, moved into the 194,000 sq. foot Gerber Scientific building in South Windsor in 2011. It is one of South Windsor's top 10 employers with 450 employees.
Kruse attributes the company’s success to its leadership within the ticket industry and the outstanding dedication of its employees.
TicketNetwork is known as the leading online exchange for event tickets and as an innovative technology solutions provider for both ticket buyers and sellers, he said.
Technology Fast 500 award winners are selected based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, companies must be in business for a minimum of five years, and be headquartered within North America. From 2007 and 2011 the company grew 133 percent, according to company officials.
“The bar is always set high for Deloitte's Technology Fast 500," co-CEO Jeffrey Scheman said, adding, "which is why we at TicketNetwork proudly accept this great honor. As ticketing technology rapidly evolves, we continually search for new opportunities to expand and better ways to serve our customers."
TicketNetwork ranked at No. 490 on the list of 500.
