The South Windsor High sports season gets underway today with a full slate of games: The field hockey team plays Newington at home at 3:45 p.m., the girls soccer team faces Bristol Eastern at home at 3:45 p.m., the volleyball team goes up against Windsor away at 5 p.m., the boys soccer team squares off against Bulkeley in Hartford at 3:45 p.m., and the cross country teams run against Manchester and Weaver at Wickham park.
