Patch Baby! Pool Passes, Summer Camp, Aman Office Hours

Here are five things going on in the area.

Good morning, South Windsor! Today is Thursday, April 25, 2013; there are 249 days left in the year.

Shortly after we launched South Windsor Patch in mid-2012, Ted shared this wonderful post about an eventful weekend he had along the Connecticut coastline. The congratulations quickly started to roll in for Ted and his new wife, the yogurt siren, or "the most beautiful woman in the world," as he described her.

Be prepared to share your best wishes again.

Thursday morning, Ted and the yogurt siren welcomed Peter David Glanzer to the family. The sweet boy, who already looks like he's ready to laugh at his daddy's jokes, weighed 7 pounds and 5 ounces.

Within minutes of his birth, the proud father shared this information: "Doctors have already proclaimed that he's the best baby ever."

Not to be outdone by medical professionals, Ted said this after sharing one of Peter's first pictures with the world: "This is a photo of the best baby ever, according to everybody in history." Disclaimer: By “everybody” in history, Ted said that he meant himself.

Although, you must admit, Peter is awfully cute, snuggly, peaceful, loveable ... you get where I'm going.

Mother and baby are well.
