Murder & Mayhem Book Discussion

Calling All Mystery Readers



Do you love to read a good detective story?         Or a thriller that keeps you up all night reading? 



Why not consider joining ‘Murder & Mayhem’, the mystery book group at the library?

There are different types of meetings, alternating each month.  One is a roundtable format where we talk about the books we’ve been reading.  It’s a great way to discover new authors.  The more traditional book discussion is the 2nd type.  One book is chosen to be read by all participants and then discussed.  Copies of these books are available at the circulation desk during the month prior to this meeting.  Several times during the year, we have speakers come, often mystery authors. 



Meetings are usually held on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. Check the program calendar on the library’s website for scheduled dates.

Here are upcoming meeting dates:



Tuesday, 10/15 – discussion of A Thief of Time, by Tony Hillerman.  Copies are available at the library.



Tuesday, 11/12 – Laura Bradford, author of three mystery series, will be speaking.  Ask at the reference desk for titles of her books.
