Letter to the Editor: Lassman Fisher Has Been There Before
South Windsor resident Joan Walsh supports Marianne Lassman Fisher for probate judge.
A special election for the Probate Judge of East Windsor, Windsor and South Windsor is going to be on Tuesday, Aug. 21. Marianne Lassman Fisher won the primary, she was the former Probate Judge for eight years.
A probate judge is one judge everyone has to go before, at that time you have lost a loved one and having someone experienced as Marianne is helps to make it easier.
The reason the special election is on Aug. 21 is due to the passing of Judge Brian Griffin from Windsor. Windsor Probate Court was merged with ours when they made 54 districts from 117 districts.
Please get out to vote in this special election for the Probate Judge or get a absentee ballot if you are going to be on vacation. The polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
