South Windsor Lends a Hand at Special Olympics Events

South Windsor Lends a hand is a group of South Windsor High school students who volunteer at various Special Olympic events.  This year we plan to expand our volunteering to four different events including the Ellington Penguin Plunge.

At the Penguin Plunge on March 22 we will jump into Crystal Lake in Ellington.  So far 13 students and a teacher have “volunteered” to take the plunge to benefit the Special Olympics.
