Veterans Memorial Park Pool

As hundreds of neighboring town residents flock to VMP, or as long time residents have known it to be called "Spring Pond", have South Windsor residents and taxpayers lost their pool? Many of us believe we have! Word has spread in EH, Hartford, Bloomfield, Manchester, and Vernon (just to name a few) that VMP is the nicest pool in the area and open to everyone at a reasonable price. Each day less and less SW residents spend a day of relaxation at our pool, and more and more other town residents claim our grassy hills, BBQ grills, picnic tables, and awesome pool. We want our park back! Would like to hear opinions on this as I have been around a lot of chatter of dissatisfaction with the town's initiative of pimping our pool to others as a revenue source instead of thinking first and foremost about those who should matter most, its residents and taxpayers. Would a petition work? Would a group of homeowners voicing their opinions at a town hall meeting?
