The East Central Narcotics Task Force arrested a Tolland woman at a gas station in South Windsor last week.
After conducting a surveillance operation, task force members arrested Sarah Liappes, 29, on Friday and charged her with possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.
Liappes, according to police, was allegedly going to sell heroin at the Irving Gas Station located at 59 John Fitch Blvd. At the time of her arrest, she had six bags of heroin was also in possession of several hypodermic needles.
In addition to this incident, Liappes has several drug-related charges pending in Superior Court.
She was released on a $10,000 non-surety bond.
