Police: Ecstasy Dealer Busted in South Windsor Sting Operation

The West Hartford man allegedly sold 140 ecstasy pills to an undercover cop.

A 19-year-old West Hartford man was arrested on multiple drug-related charges after the East Central Narcotics Task Force conducted a buy/bust operation in the parking lot of Ocean State Job Lot in Manchester.

Police set up the sting after learning that a man named "Henry" had been selling ecstasy pills in an around South Windsor. The man, identified as Henry Garcia, of Foley Street in West Hartford, was taken into custody after he allegedly sold 140 ecstasy pills.

Police said an accomplice, Eric Cross, 20, of Harvard Street in Manchester, was also taken into custody. Task force members served three arrest warrants on Cross for sale of marijuana, possession of marijuana, and possession of marijuana with intent to sell. His bond was set at $300,000.

Garcia was charged with:

  • operating a drug factory
  • possession of a controlled substance
  • sale of a controlled substance
  • possession of paraphernalia
  • possession of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school
  • possession of paraphernalia within 1,500 feet of a school

His bond was set at $125,000.
