A South Windsor man is facing several charges in relation to an incident in which police say he threatened to kill his girlfriend and her family.
The alleged victim called police to report that her boyfriend, Eric Desrocher, 35, of 719 Sandstone Drive, had broken down a door to a home and pushed her once he got inside.
Police say that Desrocher tried to take the phone away from the alleged victim when she tried to call 911. He also threatened to kill her and her family, according to police.
Desrocher was ultimately charged with breach of peace, interference with emergency calls and threatening in the second degree. He was held on a $5,000 surety bond and was scheduled appear in Superior Court in Manchester Friday morning.
