Police Trying to Sniff Out Lead in Fragrance Thief Case

Some people allegedly have a nose for trouble.

The South Windsor Police Department is seeking information on the identity of a man who allegedly stole boxes of cologne valued at $675.

Police said the alleged theft occurred at approximately 11:45 a.m. Monday, March 24, at the CVS pharmacy on Buckland Road.

The suspect is described as a light skinned male in his 20s or 30s, last seen wearing a tan jacket, dark pants and black and white sneakers. The man has some facial hair and a short haircut.
