A Massachusetts man is facing a criminal charge in relation to Tuesday's incident involving a missing 14-year-old girl.
Abraham Jenkins, 21, of Northampton, MA, was charged with risk of injury of a minor for failing to notify the girl's mother or authorities of the girl's whereabouts.
The girl reportedly ran away from home Monday evening and was eventually found in the company of Jenkins, who is related to the girl, according to police.
The investigation, according to police, revealed that Jenkins "had knowledge of the girl’s location and failed to notify her mother or the police."
Jenkins was later released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and he is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Dec. 6.
