Roadside Interview Results in Arrest

A vehicle was stopped for a violation and the driver allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana, South Windsor police said.

On Tuesday, March 25, a South Windsor Police officer stopped a vehicle on John Fitch Boulevard due to an unnamed violation.

During the roadside interview, officers learned the man was in possession of marijuana. Following a search of the vehicle, driver Curtis Douglas, 40, of 112 Woodland St., East Hartford, was arrested on the following charges:

  • Possession of marijuana with intent to sell
  • Possession of marijuana and failure to display plates

Douglas was released on a $10,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on April 3.
