South Windsor Man Charged With Violating a Protective Order

The 30-year-old resident had been ordered by a superior court judge to stay away from the house earlier in the day on Thursday, according to police.

Officers were called to a Twin Circle Drive home Thursday afternoon to find a man who hours earlier had been ordered by a superior court judge to stay away.

According to South Windsor police, officers found Matthew Polczynski, 30, of 802 Twin Circle Drive at a house on that road and took him into custody. 

Polczynski was charged with violation of a protective order and first-degree criminal trespass. He was held on $500 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court today, Friday, Aug. 31.

After arriving at the home on Thursday, officers learned Polczynski, who had been presented at court earlier in the day after being arrested and charged on Wednesday with domestic violence, was in the house.
