South Windsor Police Identify Suspect in High School Graffiti Incident

Police say a man has admitted to spray painting hate messages on South Windsor High School this week.

South Windsor police have identified a suspect in the vandalism discovered Friday morning at South Windsor High School. 

The suspect is an adult man, police said, and has no connection with the school. Police interviewed the man this afternoon. 

According to police, the man admitted to spray painting various messages on the building and said he had no intent to harm anyone. Messages found spray painted on the building include swastikas, Newtown shooting references and anti-Obama messages.

Officers plan to submit an arrest warrant application to Manchester Superior Court for review, police said.
