South Windsor Police Log for April 27 - May 6

Debra Coleman, 58, of Springfield, MA, was charged with fourth-degree larceny on May 4 for allegedly shoplifting at the Coldwater Creek store at the Shoppes at Evergreen Walk, according to police. Coleman was released on a $1,500 non-surety bond and is scheduled is appear a Manchester Superior Court on May 16.

Ian Murzin, 36, of Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and held on a $10,000 surety bond. Murzin was scheduled to be presented at Manchester Superior Court on May 6.

Murzin's charges stem from a May 4 incident in which Murzin is alleged to have  concealed cans of baby formula in his jacket and left the Target store on Buckland Hills Drive without paying, according to police. Murzin's bond was set at a higher rate because of past criminal history and various other factors, according to police.
