South Windsor Police Log for Jan. 22 - 24

Carlos Cabrera, 24, East Hartford, was charged on Jan. 22 with breach of peace, possession of cocaine, and possession of cocaine with intent to sell. Cabrera was held on a $7,000 surety bond and was scheduled to be presented at Manchester Superior Court on Jan. 23, 2013.

Janice Terrell, 33, of Hartford, was charged n Jan. 22 with larceny in the sixth degree and forgery in the second degree. Terrell was later released on non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Jan. 31, 2013.

Terrell’s charge stems from a December 2012 fraudulent check investigation, police said. Investigators determined that Terrell had allegedly cashed a forged check for $495 and later obtained an arrest warrant for her.

Paul Hogan, 50, of 1802 Mill Pond Drive, was charged on Jan. 22 with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and failure to obey control signal. Hogan was released on a $1,200 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Feb. 4.
 
Claire Bialek, 32, of 603 Twin Circle Drive, was charged on Jan. 22 with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, failure to drive in proper lane, failure to have lights lit, and failure to have tail lamps. She was later released on a non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Feb. 4.
