[Updated] South Windsor Police Search for Robbery Suspect

The suspect took an unknown quantity of pills from the CVS on Buckland Road.

The South Windsor Police Department are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery that took place Wednesday evening at the CVS pharmacy on Buckland Road.

The suspect approached the pharmacy counter and displayed a handgun, according to South Windsor police spokesman Sgt. Scott Custer.

Custer said that the suspect is a white male, about 60 years old, wearing a red Boston Red Sox hat, green pullover jacket and speaks in a gruff manner.

The suspect took a quantity of pills, but there were no injuries.
