South Windsor Police: Woman Found With Cocaine, 3 Shoplifted Sweaters

Keashie Walker, 42, of Hartford faces several charges after being arrested Tuesday.

A Hartford woman is facing several charges when she was found to allegedly be in possession of a small amount of cocaine and three sweaters that were shoplifted from an Evergreen Walk store, according to South Windsor police.

Keashie Walker, 42, of 43 Niles St., was interviewed by a South Windsor police officer at Evergreen Walk on Tuesday evening, according to Sgt. Scott Custer.

“During the interview the officer learned the woman had a pipe used for smoking crack cocaine and a small amount of cocaine in her purse,” Custer wrote in a press release. “The woman was also in possession of 3 sweaters stolen from nearby store, and she was wanted on a violation of probation warrant.”

Walker was charged with larceny in the sixth degree, possession of narcotics, and violation of probation. She was held on a $25,000 surety bond and was scheduled to be presented at Manchester Superior Court on Wednesday.
