South Windsor Police: Woman Shoplifted $238 of Baby Formula

Juliane Banas, 32, of Waterbury, faces larceny in the sixth degree charge.

A 32-year-old woman is facing a larceny charge for allegedly shoplifting $238 worth of baby formula from the Target located in South Windsor in October, according to police.

Juliane Banas, 32, of Waterbury, was arrested at Manchester Superior Court where she was appearing on other charges, according to police.

A store security office saw Banas on a video camera allegedly taking the baby formula from the store. Banas was positively identified and an arrest warrant was obtained for her.

She was charged with larceny in the sixth degree and was held at court on a $1,000 surety bond and was presented later on Thursday, Jan. 3, police said.
