South Windsor Woman Charged in Jewelry Theft

Woman, 19, allegedly took items from an acquaintance's home.

A young South Windsor woman was arrested Wednesday on allegations she stole $5,400 worth of jewelry from the home of an acquaintance, then sold it at area pawn shops.

According to police, Kelsey Otero, 19, 64 Barber Hill Road, South Windsor, was arrested by warrant Wednesday. She was charged with third-degree larceny following a September investigation. 

Otero was held on $750 surety bond and presented at Manchester Superior Court later Wednesday morning.
