TELL US: Would a Republican Primary Be Worth the Money?

Here's your chance to sound off on this local issue effecting South Windsor!

If Mayor Tom Delnicki succeeds in his goal to force a primary for Republican seats on the Town Council, it could cost South Windsor between $11,000 and $13,000, town officials told Patch earlier this week.

Some call the expenditure a waste of public funds, while others cite it as the "cost of democracy," but South Windsor wants to know how you feel about this importing issue impacting the town.

Are the costs associated with a potential primary justified? Or is it too much money to spend? Should Delnicki attempt to petition onto the ballot as an independent instead? Or what?
