Rice Cakes = Balsa, South Windsor Elections, Reading Roundup

Here are five things going on in South Windsor today.

Good morning, South Windsor! Today is Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012; there are 55 days left in the year.

The Yogurt Siren (as she pulls out a stack of rice cakes): Shop Rite says that rice cakes are a great-tasting alternative to bread and crackers

Me: Because Shop Rite isn’t selling enough rice cakes.

Ever taste balsa? Before you say no, think about if you have ever had a rice cake. If so, then change your answer to yes.

Sometimes I wonder if my wife has taste buds.

Here’s your Daily 5:

1. Today is Election Day. Please, get out and vote. If only so we can have winners to these seemingly interminable races and we can get on with our lives.

2. Reading Roundup at the South Windsor Library.

3. The South Windsor Water Pollution Control Authority meets tonight at 7 p.m.

4. The South Windsor Historic District Commission meets tonight at 7:30 p.m.

5. Introductory Ballroom Dancing.
