South Windsor School Administrator Leaving the District

The Hartford Courant reports that one of the district's special education supervisors is leaving for Glastonbury.

A South Windsor Public Schools supervisor of special education is leaving the district for Glastonbury, according to the Hartford Courant.

John Szalkiewicz, who has been in the district since 2006, will serve as instruction specialist at Glastonbury’s Hebron Avenue School, the article says. He is one of two supervisors of special education listed on the district’s website.

The former instruction specialist is now a principal in Plainville.

South Windsor Superintendent of Schools Kate Carter recommended Szalkiewicz highly, the Courant quotes the Glastonbury superintendent as saying.
