South Windsor Senior Advisory Council Unanimously Endorses Schools Plan

The South Windsor Senior Advisory Council, a representative organization of community residents and participants of adult and human service programs provided by the South Windsor Human Services Department, has announced its unanimous endorsement of the South Windsor Public Schools’ Elementary School Master Plan.

At a recently held meeting, the Senior Advisory Council voted to approve and support the plan. The South Windsor Public Schools’ Elementary School Master Plan outlines a 10-year timeline to renovate and reconstruct aging town elementary school facilities and to allow them to comply with state and federal requirements.

The anticipated referendum date to be set by the South Windsor Town Council next month is Tuesday, March 25, 2014.
