Military service members, South Windsor Food Bank and kids across the state among recipients of students' kindness.

The Timothy Edwards community has been worked on a project called "TE Cares About our Community."Each grade organized a collection of some kind and created something as well. A short description of the project for each grade below:

6th Grade has collected books for the CT organization "Read To Grow" which provides books to children all across the state. Over 1,915 books have been collected!! All students have made bookmarks to give along with the books.

7th Grade started a new program called "Birthday in a Bag". They collected items like cake, frosting, candles, plates and birthday decorations. Those items were put into 38 separate decorated birthday bags and delivered to the South Windsor Food Bank. The students also made 380 birthday cards to put in the bags.
