The South Windsor Chamber of Commerce will hold the Discover South Windsor Expo on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the former Highland Park Market located at The Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk at 800 Evergreen Way in South Windsor, CT. The event will be held from 12-7pm and will showcase many different businesses in the South Windsor area. The event is open to the public and admission is $1.00 or a canned good which will be donated to the South Windsor Food and Fuel Bank.
Businesses will offer free samples, demonstrations and products for sale. Visit Restaurant Row to sample and purchase refreshments from area food establishments. In addition, the Expo will feature Dynamic Demos throughout the day. These demos will happen every hour and will include pet care tips, antique appraisals, what the new fall trends and fashion will be, and useful information for every household.
New to the Expo this year is the “Passport to the Expo.” Attendees will receive a passport with key words about the participating businesses. Fill the passport by visiting various booths to find out what services the company or organization offers. Once the passport is completed, one lucky attendee will win a basket full of goodies worth hundreds of dollars donated by participating vendors and Chamber members. There is no purchase necessary to participate.
