Week Ahead in South Windsor: An Election to Govern the Next Two Years

Who do you want deciding for you?

Good morning, South Windsor and welcome to another week. This week is the election. As they say, all politics is local, or, put another way, as the Farmington Town Council Chair likes to say, while people turn out to vote in droves for presidential elections and at just around 30 percent for local elections, it is the local election that has the most direct impact on your life.

That is far more the case in South Windsor, where residents do not vote on the budget. As Deputy Mayor Gary Bazzano recently said, "[The election]'s the referendum – who you want in here to do your business... You decide on election day which ones you want up here doing your business..."

So, choose well.
