Steve I hope this gets to you in time. Don't go on that egg hunt! Apparently you have never seen an…Read More Easter egg hunt before. After the egg hunt starting cannon roars, hundreds of undisciplined kids and hooligans rush the field grabbing for everything they can find. Heaven forbid you find and pick up an egg, they will be all over you. You'll be lucky to keep your shoes. Suggest that you and Peaches clutch your valuables and head for the exits ASAP. And by the way do you realize that your magic hat is changing color. Is it due to a natural phenomenon? No one could own that many hats.

I agree with you heartily: you both should be ashamed! Shame, however, is a state of mind,…Read More reflecting not just one's inner state, but the environment in which he exists. As I am a rock snob, music I own that might cause me the deepest shame might be considered just fine in certain circles. Here are three songs I like that would cause me to blush if played amongst my indie-rock pals: 1) Pink, "Get The Party Started" Saw the video with the kiddies way back when it was first released and "got it for them." Truth is, she's my kind of girl, in a sassy, tough, Robert Crumb sort of way. And the song is kinda funky. 2) America "Sister Golden Hair" I like a lot of this 70's lite-rock band's offerings, but this one's my fave. Totally clashes with my usual punk/funk/alternative tracks, but, like a Judd Apatow movie, there's a soft, gooey center in the middle of many of us obscene, hard rock fans. 3) The entire "Mash-Up" genre. Okay, totally cheating here, but so what? Think Miley Cyrus's tune is a guilty pleadure? I have it mixed with Notorious B.I.G! Most of these chopped up tunes, where DJs use a dance beat to creatively unite different songs, are sublimely ridiculous. Beyonce's "Put A Ring On It" with "Theme from Mayberry RFD" Nirvana with The Jackson Five. "Virgin O'Riley" (Madonna with The Who). Crazy, and gets you moving. Good for shoveling snow!
